I like to think that learning to walk is really the closest we have come to discovering the joy of flight. There are others, like learning to bike, or to swim. But in my opinion, its these first steps that pale everything else in comparison. Just watching these toddlers brave the transition from being quadrupeds can bring home a lesson or two to us (supposedly) adults. This little guy for instance, was making it a point to cover as much of the park as he could. That he fell every so often didn't seem to diminish his enthusiasm. And thats exactly how we should take on life. A challenge that offers the joy of learning and discovery with the occasional fall...
But let me stop trying to be so full of hot air and point out other things, for instance, the (i think) bold cropping.

good one!
I find it odd that folks will put sandals on a toddler. A Friend of ours visited us earlier this summer andinstead of letting her go round barefoot, they had her wear flipflops. then they fussed at her because she had the flippy thing between the wrong toes. What ever happened to barefoot kids?
