:: Home

We had just disembarked at the Nashville airport from our connecting flight. It was late afternoon and these plates caught the sun streaming in through the skylight, sending slivers of shine everywhere. No thinking, I just clicked. Which is why the pic was badly overexposed and needed doctoring. And if you want to know what the Tyndall effect is, click here.
Ever since I kicked this blog back to life, I have been posting pictures that I had already taken several months back. One reason for this has been a disinclination to wield the camera again. What I have been doing in this while is scout my old pics for promising shots and then try to touch them up a little. Currently, the max that I've done is some basic lighting, contrast and saturation fixes. And by basic, I mean really basic. Not even the dodging-burning kinds or any selective operations. This one, for eg. saw some fill-light removal and just a tad more saturation.

Thanks for throwing some light on the Tyndall effect. Some how, this image gave me a momentary image of debris floating in flooded New Orleans. Couldn’t figure out how that crossed my mind. Just some disconnected insane thinking (linking perhaps?) like u Eh?
